At Canada Business Grants, we’re on a mission to make small business funding more accessible for Canadian entrepreneurs. Our websites provide critical information on thousands of funding programs, from government grants to tax credits, helping business owners find the financial support they need to grow.

As we expand our services, we’re looking for a dynamic Business Funding Advisor to help us turn prospects into happy clients.

The Role:

As a Business Funding Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a vital role in understanding their funding needs and matching them with our services.

This is a role for someone who loves to talk, listen, and convert conversations into action.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:
Reach out to potential clients who have expressed interest by leaving a voicemail on our 1-800 number.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries sent to our support@ email address, as well as direct business emails.

Needs Assessment: Engage with prospects to understand their business funding needs, asking the right questions to gather key information.

Conversion: Confidently present our services, including custom funding reports and grant-writing assistance, and convert prospects into clients by demonstrating the value of our offerings.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.

What We’re Looking For:

Outgoing & Ambitious: You’re a natural communicator who loves interacting with people, and you’re driven to achieve results.
Curious & Empathetic: You have a genuine interest in learning about others’ needs and challenges, and you listen carefully to provide the best possible solutions.
Sales-Savvy: You’re comfortable guiding conversations toward a successful sale, with a track record of converting prospects into clients.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a client-facing role is a strong asset. Familiarity with small business funding is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you!
Ability to work on Canadian time zone. Regardless of where you are located, your working hours will be aligned with the Canadian time zone (Eastern Standard Time).
