*Job Description*

We are seeking a dedicated and creative social media manager who has a passion for podcasts and education! You'll help us engage with like-minded parents, and the community while managing the growing podcast presence of our two podcasts and our education think-tank.

*Detailed Responsibilities*

Your daily responsibilities would include:
- Create and edit engaging static posts, reels, stories, and video clips to promote podcast episodes.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular promotion of podcast episodes.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Prepare a weekly report summarising social media activities and engagements.
- Manage and oversee podcast content across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

*Basic Skills*

Newbies are welcome, but you do need to have excellent English skills. It’s also important that you know how to use the applications listed below. Familiarity with podcasts is a plus!

- Very familiar with Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Meta Business
- Web research using search engines like Google
- Know how to utilise AI to optimise your work
- Microsoft 360 Suite
- Gmail and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar
- Social media scheduling tools like Later
- Project management tools like ----------
- Time tracking software like Toggle

*Desired Technical Skills and Experience*
- While not required, the following skills are a bonus:
- Experience with podcast promotion
- Familiarity with Canva or other design tools for content creation
- Experience working with schools or educational organisations

*Work Schedule and Holidays*
- This is a part-time position: starting at 10 hours p/week

Work hours are weekdays, flexible.

*Salary*
Approx $8-10 AUD commensurate with experience (Approx $400 AUD/15,500 Peso)
