Short-Form Video Editor

I am seeking a very skilled social media short-form video editor who is able to edit specific types of videos that perform well on TikTok and Instagram.

I am an Amazon Influencer, TikTok Shop Creator, TikTok Shop Coach, Social Media Influencer, and Creator Coach. I have a podcast and I am passionate about empowering creators, so I want someone who truly LOVES editing videos to join our team!

I create different types of content for my personal brand, UGC for other brands, my podcast, and coaching other content creators. I have a lot of different projects and people I work with so I need someone who is able to replicate the type of editing I do and come up with even more ideas based on my video footage I film.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

VIDEO EDITING FOR SOCIAL MEDIA:
You NEED to know how to edit aesthetic short-form videos EXACTLY like I do. This means you're able to take all of my video clips I film (you need fast internet and lots of storage), choose a song from trending audio, and edit to the exact beats as I would. I know this is a very specific skill so please do NOT apply if the video examples below are not something you already have 100% proficiency in. I love training creators & helping them, which is why I need someone on my team who already knows how to do these things so I can spend more time making a difference for creators.

I create MANY different types of these aesthetic videos for different niches, and you MUST know how to create each one already as if it were me doing it myself. You also need to know how to edit "green screen" videos using graphics. You also need to know how to edit TikTok Shop videos where I'm talking to the camera. This means you MUST know what hook is best, how to trim out ALL PAUSES & dead space while still feeling organic.

SCRIPTING:
You need to be able to take all of my video footage and tell a story with it. You will turn it into a script for me to record a voiceover using the video footage you edit down. *The timing won't be "perfect" but I need it trimmed down enough to where I can try to align my footage with the voiceover.* (I have examples laid out in that document I mentioned)

SELF-STARTER: I need someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and a team player. You will be working with others on the team and I want you to THRIVE in your role as a creative.

4. For the files, please go to the link I’ve added below and follow the instructions. You need to download the footage for both videos, and edit them down as mentioned in the document. I want to see how you edit to make sure things are 100% exactly on beat, the clips aren’t too long or too short, and you understand the type of songs + footage I choose, and you know about audio hacks. Upload both edited videos to a folder and send them to me in that email when you’re done.

*This position will start as part-time with opportunities to move into full-time, with bonus opportunities throughout the year. I want this to be a long-term working relationship so I want someone who is committed, loves what they do, and doesn't need to be micromanaged. English skills are a MUST since everything I do is very detail oriented and fast-paced.*
