Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports related to cryptocurrency transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of blockchain, digital currencies, and general bookkeeping principles, ensuring all financial information is recorded, reconciled, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

*Data Management:* Utilize specialized software for tracking cryptocurrency transactions and integrate them into traditional accounting systems.

*Record Keeping:* Accurately record all cryptocurrency transactions, including buys, sells, transfers, and conversions between digital assets and fiat currency.

*Reconciliation:* Reconcile crypto wallets, exchange accounts, and bank accounts regularly to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

*Audit Preparation:* Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for audits, ensuring compliance with crypto regulations and accounting standards.

*Cost Basis Calculation:* Determine the cost basis for cryptocurrency purchases and sales for accurate tax reporting.

Qualifications:

-*Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:* Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency transactions.
*Certifications:* CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred but not required.
*Technical Skills:* Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, blockchain technology, and accounting software (QuickBooks, specialized crypto accounting software, Taxbit).
*Knowledge:* Strong understanding of cryptocurrency regulations, tax reporting, and accounting principles related to digital assets.
*Attention to Detail:* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
*Analytical Skills:* Ability to analyze and reconcile complex cryptocurrency transactions.
*Communication Skills:* Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and explaining crypto-related financial data.
