About the Job
We're looking for a passionate, dedicated video editor (with focus on long-form). You'll work very closely with Dominik to refine and shape the editing style.

Ideal Candidate
You know, as a YouTube Video Editor, your main focus will be to bring the content to life without losing the heart of the message. We don't want overly edited, "retention style" videos. You understand the best practices of pacing, structure, music, and graphic needs to produce top tier YouTube content that fits Dominik's style and brand.

You’ll be working with us closely, shaping and refining the editing style, and handling things like b-roll and graphics.
Intermediates who are willing to learn motion graphics are also welcome.

You're focused on preserving the essence of the content. You’ll create deliberate edits that enhance the story, avoiding overuse of jump cuts, unnecessary effects, or over-editing.

We are not looking for somebody who delivers the finished end product and is waiting for the next one to start.

You'll be in a constant feedback loop with Dominik and especially at the beginning, we will work on videos together to give the final touches.

Responsibilities
Edit 1 long form video per week
create short form drafts from the long form videos
Edit 2-5 dedicated short form videos per week
Job Requirements
Work in either DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
Understanding of the YouTube space
Speed and clarity in communication
Experience in Motion Graphics (or willingness to learn)
