Scriptwriter for YouTube Channel

We’re seeking a talented and creative Scriptwriter to join a small, tight-knit team working alongside a YouTube video creator/talent, a current scriptwriter, a thumbnail artist, and a video editor. Your role will be essential in crafting high-quality, engaging scripts for videos that resonate with our growing audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Scriptwriting:
Collaborate with the video creator and current scripter to develop compelling scripts that align with the channel's tone, style, and audience preferences.
Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts that effectively convey information or tell a story.
Maintain a consistent voice across videos that reflect the brand's identity.

Content Research:
Conduct thorough research to support script content, ensuring accuracy and depth.
Stay up-to-date with trends in the industry and the target audience to keep content fresh and relevant.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the video creator/talent, video editor, and thumbnail artist to ensure seamless execution from script to final video production.
Be open to feedback and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance creative content.

Editing & Revisions:
Edit and revise scripts based on feedback from the team or video creator.
Ensure that scripts are polished and ready for production in a timely manner.

Adapting Styles:
Write scripts for a variety of video formats including informational, tutorial, storytelling, and more.
Adapt to the evolving content needs of the channel while staying true to its core values.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a scriptwriter, copywriter, or in a similar content writing role.
Ability to write engaging, concise, and compelling content for video.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with YouTube content and its audience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Adaptable and able to work under tight deadlines.
Basic understanding of video production and how scripts translate into visual content (a plus but not required).
