Position: Recruitment Consultant with possibility of managing field staff
Location: Remote within Metro Manila Only
Hours: Full-time, Mon - Fri 9 AM - 5 PM Australian Time

Maid My Day is a leading cleaning company operating across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra. We specialize in providing cleaning services for the elderly in the Australian Aged Care Industry. With 16 years of experience and a dedicated team of approximately 200 cleaners, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a person who has experience working as a Human Resource Representative to find exceptional cleaners for our Aged Care clients and who has also had managed field staff on a daily basis.
You will collaborate with our 19 full-time Virtual Assistants based in the Philippines to attract, screen, and onboard the best candidates. This role may evolve to include developing recruitment strategies, building partnerships with job agencies and managing staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Scheduling Team and Cleaner Managers to identify cleaning service needs and recruit appropriate candidates.
Screen applications and conduct interviews for cleaning positions.
Maintain and update the recruitment calendar and reports.
Onboard successful candidates, providing them with all necessary information for their roles.
Offer ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Perform reference checks and background screenings via job agencies and documentation review.
Manage the onboarding process, including collection of requirements and administering the Licence to Clean training.
Stay informed about company guidelines and best practices in cleaning services.
Possibility of Managing Field Staff with the following responsibilities:
Support and manage the progression of each cleaner after they have been recruited and onboarded into our business.
You will guide them through each Maid My Day Training milestone. You will monitor and encourage their performance with the aim of getting them to Ideal Employee status and prepare them to apply for a role within the organisations of our Aged Care partners
You will provide feedback for improvement and work with their Employment consultants to ensure that they are achieving their necessary progress
Manage issues that arise for our cleaners
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and staff managing
Someone who is organised and knows how to manage their time with the ability to develop relationships with your staff.
You will have the ability to be both empathetic in understanding each of your tea
Familiarity with recruitment techniques. Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment regulations in Australia is a plus but not essential.
Positive and helpful attitude is crucial.
Comfortable taking responsibility for your work and being accountable for meeting KPIs within a tight-knit team.
Experience with cloud-based software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook) is beneficial.
