Medical Biller / Account Manager - Lab Billing

***Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the account manager for the billing side of our lab services, ensuring smooth coordination of all billing activities.
- Manage and coordinate prior authorizations (Prior Auths) for patient appointments, prioritizing based on upcoming appointment dates.
- Analyze incoming insurance claims to identify patterns in how various insurance companies and plans pay out.
- Generate payment estimates for patients based on payer information and help optimize billing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline communication and ensure efficient billing processes.
- Stay updated on payer policies and healthcare billing regulations to ensure compliance.

***Qualifications:

- Priority Lab Billing Experience
- Proven experience in medical billing, focusing on lab services or related healthcare areas.
- Hands-on experience with coordinating prior authorizations.
- Strong understanding of insurance claims processing, payer analysis, and healthcare payment systems.
- Ability to generate and analyze payment estimates based on payer information.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of billing regulations, payer guidelines, and insurance plans.
