Urban Road is a vibrant & innovative company that transforms spaces with stunning, high-quality artwork, wallpaper & decor. We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Print File Editor to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Graphic Designer & Print File Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all print files meet our high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with our creative & product teams to create, edit and customise artwork and wallpaper print files for our customers. In addition, you will work directly with the sales team to edit custom artwork & wallpaper designs for specific customer needs and projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare & edit print files for production, including creating high-resolution TIFF files, ensuring they meet industry standards & specifications for print quality.
2. Manage colour profiles effectively, working with both RGB & CMYK formats to ensure accurate colour reproduction across digital & print mediums.
3. Create, edit and recolour seamless pattern designs that can be used for various applications, such as wallpaper.
4. Collaborate with the creative team to develop creative concepts, incorporating feedback & making necessary revisions.
5. Work closely with the sales team to create custom artwork & wallpaper designs tailored to specific customer requirements & projects.
6. Conduct quality checks on print files to guarantee that all elements, such as resolution & bleed, are correct.
7. Use programs like Topaz to upscale files, ensuring artwork maintains high resolution & quality after enlargement.
8. Apply enhancements to digital artwork, refining details & improving overall visual quality.
9. Run & modify Photoshop scripts to streamline workflows, from batch processing to automated adjustments, saving time on repetitive tasks.
10. Stay informed about the latest design trends & best practices in print production to continually enhance our output & efficiency.
11. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of work.

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a print-focused role.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop is essential).
Experience with photo editing, manipulation and file enlargement tools like Topaz Photo AI or similar programs.
Strong understanding of print production processes & file preparation.
Knowledge of Photoshop scripting & the ability to modify scripts to improve workflow efficiency.
Excellent attention to detail & a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a remote environment.
Strong communication skills & a proactive approach to problem-solving.
