Project Overview
We seek a skilled Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4 specialist for a one-time project to help us standardize and optimize our GTM accounts with event tracking and set up GA4 custom reports and dashboards for three websites we own and run.

Note: Although this is a standalone, one-time project, there is potential for ongoing work if you execute the key deliverables/desired outcomes and we enjoy working together. For example, analysis and communication of data-driven insights to our client sites using the dashboards and event tracking you've set up.

Develop GA4 custom dashboards and/or reports that specifically provide event tracking performance reports. (These must be in a standard format and available across GA4 properties/accounts). For example:
Most common events by page
Most popular pages with a breakdown of most popular events
Provide documentation of the setup and any custom configurations for future reference.
Test and validate all configurations for accuracy.
Deliver a final report of actions taken and recommendations for future improvements.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience with Google Tag Manager troubleshooting issues and ensuring all tags, triggers, and variables function as needed for tracking and reporting

- Experience in creating custom reports and building dashboards in GA4 and/or Data Studio for cross-account performance reporting
- Ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively to stakeholders
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving analytics issues
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

Non-Essential Bonus Experience & Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in e-commerce data analysis and marketing analytics
- Familiarity with multiple e-commerce platforms

About Us/Background
My name is Colin Clapp. I'm the chief ‘Growth Enabler’ at a small, world-class digital marketing agency I co-founded with my wife Elly several years ago.

We specialize in content and CTA (calls-to-action) optimizations and are on a mission to help e-commerce stores and website owners turn their weak-performing websites into winning websites! (By optimizing poor-performing content and CTAs to turn lookers into leads, clicks into connections, and browsers into buyers).

Elly and I are also proud, intentional parents and maturing digital nomads in a location-independent, worldschooling family committed to inspiring others to live life without regrets. (We have been traveling full time (while working) since 2017 and have two daughters born in 2013 and 2019).

Colin uses SEO and CRO techniques and tools to help e-commerce stores and websites optimize poor-performing content and CTAs (calls-to-action) to turn lookers into leads, clicks into connections, and browsers into buyers.

Elly is an experienced holistic health practitioner and the creator of the Holistic Health Highway. She is the author of the Amazon 5-star reviewed book ‘Burning Fat for Good’ [ ---------- ] and writes regularly about health, fitness, travel and unschooling.

We have been using outsourced freelancers for well over a decade. We rarely require face-to-face meetings and communicate asynchronously utilizing a combination of email, video explainers, and project management tools such as Trello.

All our VAs and support team work autonomously and in their own time zone!
