InDesign Specialist for Amazon KDP Projects

Job Overview: We are looking for a talented InDesign Specialist to join our team and help create high-quality designs for Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). The ideal candidate will have strong skills in InDesign, along with experience using Photoshop or Affinity, and the ability to collaborate on Canva projects. You will be working closely with us to design professional book layouts and covers for our KDP products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design book interiors and covers for Amazon KDP using InDesign.
Create visually appealing book layouts
Collaborate with the team on projects in Canva for additional design needs.
Utilize Photoshop or Affinity to enhance and manipulate images when needed.
Ensure all designs meet the technical requirements for publishing on Amazon KDP.
Revise designs based on feedback and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Requirements:

Proficient in InDesign.
Strong skills in Photoshop or Affinity for image editing.
Experience with Canva for collaborative design projects.
Understanding of Amazon KDP formatting guidelines (experience preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a remote team.

Compensation:

Payment is per project and based on the number of pages created. Compensation will be discussed and agreed upon for each project.
