Video Editor for True Medical Crime YouTube Channel (Faceless Videos)

We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to join our team for a True Medical Crime YouTube Channel (Faceless Videos). Our channel mainly focuses on the dark and intriguing world of medical crimes, presenting detailed narratives and analysis of real-life cases. We need a creative and detail-oriented video editor who can bring our stories to life with compelling visuals and engaging storytelling.

IMPORTANT: We do NOT seek an editor for short videos with faces - we are looking for an editor for faceless videos!

Responsibilities:

- Edit video content (Faceless Videos) for a true medical crime channel, ensuring high-quality output
- Collaborate with the content team to understand the storyline and vision for each video
- Incorporate stock footage, graphics, text, and other multimedia elements to enhance the narrative
- Use sound effects and music to create the right mood and atmosphere
- Ensure the final video is polished, engaging, and meets the channel's style and standards
- Manage project timelines and deliver videos on schedule

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a focus on true crime or documentary-style content
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with stock footage and create custom graphics and animations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices and trends is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in editing content related to medical crimes or similar genres
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work, especially in true crime or documentary formats
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
