Tired of editing the same old boring videos? Join me in creating fun, impactful content that helps people transform their lives through personal development.
If you love experimenting with humor and creativity, this is the perfect opportunity to have fun while editing.
ABOUT ME
Hey there! I’m Simie, a Doctor of Physical Therapy turned health and wellness coach. I run The Well Being Program, a hybrid coaching service combining one-on-one sessions with online group workshops, all built on my growing YouTube channel.
After helping hundreds of patients in the clinic and experiencing my own burnout, I realized I could make a bigger impact through YouTube, inspiring people to get their sh*t together and prioritize their wellness. My YouTube channel has 17K loyal subs and over 1 million views. It’s currently focused on bullet journaling but will soon expand to cover more personal development tools.
What sets me apart?
My humor, creativity, and fun approach to wellness! (and the fact that I film almost all of my content in a glorious hoodie robe lol). I find it much easier to inspire myself and others when people are enjoying themselves.
My goal is to keep creating relatable, uplifting content that sparks long-term change without boring people.

REQUIREMENTS
If it sounds like we could vibe, here’s what I need:
• You have at least three years of proven video editing skills
• Ideally, you use Davinci Resolve (but this isn’t a deal breaker)
• You’re able to deliver in 2-3 days
• People would describe you as “creative.”
• You do quality work that you’re proud of and have attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• You pay attention to notes & listen to feedback
• You can match my current editing style
• You have a portfolio or previous work you can show me
Added Bonus:
• You have a great sense of humor
• You understand pacing and storytelling
• You’re good with animations/motion graphics
• You’re good in Affinity (or Photoshop)
• You’re good with design
• You can create downloadable PDFs
THE ROLE
So what exactly will you be doing?
I need someone to lay the groundwork for the “creative” stage of my edits. I’ll take care of the intro, but then the rest of the edit will be handed off to you.
So cutting up a-roll, inserting provided b-roll or improvising with assets, and adding basic SFX.
After that, I’ll add in the random last minute bits of pizazz if needed.
What I need from you:
• cut up a-roll (which I will create)
• align/center all the shots
• add crops/zooms
• add b roll (which I will create)
• animated text with sfx
• visuals (arrows, text movement, sticker “animations”)
• title screens
• pace all of the above to music and energy of video
• give me a little feedback on x (a 5 min task)
I aim to make two long-form videos per month, typically 8 -16 minutes long.
If you’re reading this, please respond with “chill” as the first word in the subject of your application so I know you’ve read it.
I’m looking for a creative partner—a long-term collaboration… someone who can grow with me.
We’ll start with this workflow but I’m interested in growing this into more hours/editing and maybe even a full-time position if we work well together—especially if you're able to help with thumbnails or making other relevant assets to the videos or even my business.
I want you to be able to match the style, but I’m open to you adding your creativity to the mix and bouncing ideas off of each other.
HOW TO APPLY
If this sounds like something you’re interested in and you think you’d be a good fit, here’s how to apply:
• Send examples of your previous work
• Let me know what you’re looking to make
• Let me know your availability & how much time you can spend working for me
If you have any other info you think I might find relevant or interesting, feel free to add that, too, as it’d be nice to get to know you better.
TTYL!
Simie
