Job Description: SEO Virtual Assistant

As an SEO Virtual Assistant, you will be part of an online marketing team, assisting with the optimization of websites to improve search engine rankings. Your role involves analyzing websites for performance issues, implementing strategies to boost search visibility, and supporting the development of content that aligns with SEO best practices. The goal is to help clients rank higher on search engines like Google and drive organic traffic to their sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze websites for SEO issues and recommend solutions. Includes keyword research, meta tags (titles, descriptions), header tags (H1, H2), internal linking, and image alt tags.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO techniques, such as keyword research, metadata optimization, and link building. This includes building backlinks from other reputable websites, social media marketing, influencer outreach, and guest blogging.
- Assist in developing SEO-friendly content, working closely with content creators to ensure alignment with SEO strategies.
- Conduct technical audits to identify issues that could impact search rankings (site speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Track and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or other SEO software.
- Optimize website pages, blogs, and content to align with target keywords and SEO guidelines.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in SEO, including knowledge of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and how they impact organic rankings.
- Familiarity with content management systems and optimizing content for user experience and SEO.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and online marketing trends and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of keyword research techniques, competitor analysis, and website auditing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and how they can be leveraged to improve SEO results.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of local SEO practices for small businesses.
- Familiarity with video SEO and optimizing YouTube channels.
- Basic content creation skills to assist with on-site SEO assets
