SOCIAL MEDIA CO-ORDINATOR – WFH – Australian Company
Job Overview:
The Social Media coordinator will oversee all social media channels, creating and executing strategies that align with the company’s brand and objectives. This role requires leadership, creativity, and a keen ability to analyse performance metrics, ensuring continuous growth in engagement, reach, and brand visibility across multiple businesses and social media platforms. Hours of work are Melbourne, Australia 8.30 to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
• Manage the daily operation of all social media platforms
• Lead the creation of engaging and innovative content, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and other tea
• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and brand advocates to promote organic growth and user-generated content.
• Oversee social media advertising campaigns, working with the digital marketing team to optimize ads for maximum ROI.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as follower growth, engagement rates, and conversion metrics. Provide regular reports to management, offering actionable insights.
• Respond to comments, inquiries, and customer feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with legal, copyright, and data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with the offshore web team and onshore management to ensure that social media efforts align with wider marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in digital marketing.
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights is a plus.
• Experience managing paid social media campaigns and budget allocation.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in crisis management and handling social media controversies.
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles is a plus.
REMUNERATION and WHAT WE PROVIDE
Work Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm (Melbourne Australian Time Zone), Monday-Friday
Salary: 20,000 PESO per month
Probation (Trial) Period: 3 months
Annual Increase: 1,000 PESO anniversary date
Holidays: 20 days paid holiday per year.
Sick Leave: 10 days paid sick leave per year.
Bonus: Additional Month Salary each DECEMBER (pro-rata)
Public Holidays: Australian Public Holidays
