LTL Freight Coordinator

THIS ROLE REQUIRES AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TRACKING LTL (LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD) SHIPMENTS FOR A FREIGHT BROKERAGE THAT'S BASED IN THE UNITED STATES.

Job Title: Tracking Coordinator
Job Duties:
Setting up LTL shipments
Quoting LTL shipments in our system
Utilizing TMS system to obtain and record tracking updates
Calling LTL terminals for regular updates
Detecting issues or inconsistencies with shipments
Escalating issues to Operations and/or the customer
Aggregation a daily report of on-time vs late LTL shipments


A little about us:

We are a US based Freight brokerage with a specialization in difficult shipments. Most of our shipments are either driver assist, multiple stops, or difficult commodities with special requirements.

We have 3 divisions: US domestic Truckload and LTL, Ocean & Drayage, and Mexico cross border.

This position would be for the US operations team with a focus on LTL shipments.

We have a passion for hiring in the Phillipenes, and currently have 10 employees in the Phillipenes with plans to hire more. Even though they're independent contractors, we feel strongly about treating our counterparts in the Phillipenes as part of the family. Thus we typically abide by the norms of the Phillipenes that in-country firms would provide.
