- Edit full length feature documentary films.
- Managing and organizing footage, ensuring technical quality.
- Conduct basic color grading to enhance the visual consistency and mood of the film.
- Collaborate with directors, to understand project goals and provide creative input throughout the editing process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in video editing, credits design, subtitling, DIT, and color grading to continually improve skills and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain organized project files, timely delivery of high-quality edited videos.
Requirements:
-MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH
MUST HAVE experience as a video editor 5+YEARS with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- MUST BE Proficiency in industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- The ability to follow directions and solve problems independently.
Develop narrative arcs that effectively convey the tone, and key elements of the film
Review and organize raw footage, select the most impactful shots.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production or related field.
- Familiarity with basic VFX compositing and After Effects is a plus.
- Ability and equipment to work from home.
