Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced javascript developer that is capable of working on migrating a lot of the functionality of an old PHP / JS project that is built using CodeIgnite & MYSQL and convert it to a new project running SvelteKit & Supabase (POSTGRES).

The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their PHP / MYSQL skills to be able to understand the old legacy project features and extract out the relevant code parts that are needed to be ported to the new app running SvelteKit & Supabase. Your manager will also be able to contribute in converting the relevant MYSQL to POSTGRES conversions. Your job responsibility will be in identifying where in the legacy project old code lies that needs to be converted, converting the code from PHP to javascript, and ensuring the features are functioning in the new web app. This will require mostly backend work in javascript, and some frontend work using sveltekit.
