Email Marketing Manager

Job Description:

As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement, improve conversion rates, and drive revenue. You will need to pay close attention to detail, follow specific instructions, and use critical thinking to adjust strategies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including promotional, automated, and transactional emails
• Create and segment email lists to ensure targeted marketing
• Write engaging email copy that aligns with company goals and brand voice
• Design and implement email templates with strong attention to detail
• Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.)
• A/B testing and optimizing emails for better performance
• Stay updated on best practices for email marketing and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and goals

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in managing email marketing campaigns
• Tools: Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar)
• Copywriting: Strong skills in writing engaging and converting email content
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to improve email strategies
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow specific instructions and ensure accuracy in every task
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues with campaigns
• Technical: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template design is a plus
• Timezone: Must be available to work PST hours (Pacific Standard Time)
• English Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
