BLK + GRN is a curated marketplace connecting Black artisans with consumers who care about their health, wellness, and the planet. We offer all-natural products crafted by Black artisans, creating a space that values the power of Black-owned businesses in the wellness industry.
This role requires someone who is proactive, innovative, and ready to implement strategies that will drive engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate is experienced in social media growth and will take ownership of this initiative, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a go-getter Virtual Assistant who can help with the following 4 things:
- Convert 10% of our 172k instagram followers to YouTube subscribers.
- Respond to comments on Instagram posts and reels, mentioning new YouTube videos or the channel when relevant.
- If followers ask about more content or products, respond with a link to the relevant YouTube video.
- Send DMs to engaged followers (those who often like or comment) with a CTA to subscribe on YouTube.
2) Marketing Support:
- Assist in implementing the Q4 2024 Marketing Sales Plan, focusing on increasing Average Order Value (AOV), conversion rates, and total sales.
- Support the execution of major marketing campaigns, including the Holiday Self-Care Gift Box launch, tiered discounts, and Cyber Monday promotions.
- Contribute to content creation and management, including influencer partnerships, user-generated content campaigns, and educational content development.
3) Event Coordination:
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of one major BLK + GRN-sponsored event aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving sales.
- Assist in the management of three partnership events, including partner outreach, event planning, and post-event analysis.
- Support the development of a new revenue channel by assisting in the creation and implementation of a marketing plan for monetizing event postings on the BLK + GRN platform.
4) Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and events, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for post-event reports, including participant feedback, sales figures, and engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in marketing, event management, and supporting Black-owned businesses.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Airtable is a plus
