Junior Frontend Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Frontend Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work with our client’s engineering team to produce high-quality software and products, primarily focused on iteratively improving the core SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Software Development
- Develop and maintain responsive single page applications using mainly React.js and Typescript.
- Participate in agile planning, estimation and development to enable fast iteration and feedback loops.
- Communicate proactively with development tea ---------- mbers to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Contribute ideas and efforts to improve quality and efficiency of the development processes.

Product Design & Experience
- Provide input on feasibility, usability and product design to build the best possible customer experiences using available resources.

Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience in Frontend Development

- Technical Proficiencies

+ Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
+ Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and JavaScript frameworks used to build single-page applications (React.js preferred).
+ Experience in HTML and CSS, including familiarity with HTML5 APIs, browser compatibility, modern styling, and layout techniques.
+ Knowledge of REST APIs, CLI tools, and testing (Swagger, Node.js, Cypress preferred)
+ Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance considerations and tradeoffs.

- Soft Skills

+ Strong English Communication skills (verbal and written).
+ Proactive in identifying and solving problems, as well as supporting colleagues.
+ Self-organizing and detail-oriented.
+ Passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement.

- Nice to Haves

+ Has experience working with SaaS or FinTech applications.
+ Has design-system and component-library experience.

Schedule

- Full-time, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week).
- Monday to Friday, 2pm - 11pm (Philippines Standard Time)

What we Offer

- Salary Range: PHP 40,000 to 45,000 per month
