We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. The Remote Accounting Assistant will support the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide support for audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or internship is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- CPA certification is a plus.
