Company Background:
We are a dynamic team specialising in building websites for various services. We are currently seeking a smart, hardworking, and versatile individual to join our team as a Virtual Assistant. This role offers significant growth opportunities, with the potential for career advancement as the company expands.

Position Overview:
As the first Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the co-founders by handling tasks related to website management, market research, content writing, and administrative duties. Attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, adaptability, and strong English proficiency are essential. As the first hire, you will have the opportunity to onboard, train, and eventually lead new tea ---------- mbers. We expect this role to evolve rapidly, with increasing responsibilities, experience, and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management:
Assist with building and maintaining WordPress websites.
Add new pages and update existing content as required.
Ensure websites are optimized for lead capture.

Content Creation:
Write and edit high-quality, original content for websites and marketing materials.
Conduct competitor analysis to understand relevant topics and keywords for the niche.
Note: AI tools are not to be used for content creation. Originality and quality are paramount, and any use of AI will result in immediate termination.

Market Research:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
Provide insights and recommendations for marketing strategies.
Identify potential businesses that may be interested in the leads we generate.

Graphic Design:
Perform basic graphic design tasks using software like Canva.

Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with the co-founders (and future tea ---------- mbers).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: A few years of experience in a similar role is preferred. We are open to candidates with diverse skill sets, but those with extensive content writing experience who are willing to learn other skills may be particularly well-suited for this position.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPress and familiarity with its backend functionalities are beneficial. Copywriting skills are a plus. This is a no-code role.

English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude. In the subject line of your application, please tell us the name of your favourite fruit.

Software Familiarity:
WordPress

Work Hours and Time Zone:
For the first six weeks, it would be beneficial to work Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 3 pm UK BST (with Thursday and Friday off) to facilitate complete onboarding with the co-founders.
Initially, work hours will be from 5 am to 2 pm UK BST (with a 1-hour lunch break). Flexible hours can be discussed for the long term.
