JOB SUMMARY
The Remote Amazon Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely delivery of products within Amazon’s logistics network. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including suppliers, transportation teams, and customer service, to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain. The Logistics Coordinator will also monitor shipments, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Shipment Coordination:
- Coordinate the shipping and delivery of products from suppliers to Amazon warehouses and customers.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve any issues related to delays, lost shipments, or delivery errors.
2. Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact between suppliers, carriers, and Amazon's logistics teams.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and goods.
3. Inventory Management:
- Work closely with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
5. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics transactions.
6. Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify potential logistics issues and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Address and resolve customer service escalations related to shipping and delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Experience working with Amazon's logistics systems (e.g., Seller Central, Amazon FBA) is highly desirable.
3. Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
4. Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Can work from 9am-5pm EST.
- Comfortable using timetracker Hubstaff.
