Digital Marketing Specialist

We are hiring for a unique position. You will function as a digital marketing specialist but primarily focusing on utilizing AI for content creation, creating social media posts, and managing local SEO via our brightlocal account.

You must be familiar with current SEO trends and especially be up to date with Google's view of AI content. (It's not inherently bad, but it needs to be high quality).

We utilize both Perplexity AI and ChatGPT to achieve the desired outputs and also have a Jasper.ai account that we can use as well. We also utilize Squirrly SEO for on-site SEO updates. You must be familiar with these tools and also familiar with WordPress and Divi as we use Divi as our page builder for client sites. You will be in charge of performing on-page SEO updates and the occasional content update (i.e a client wants to run an offer so we create a promo for the website and social media).

You will not need to be involved in meetings with clients but you may need to be available via email or Slack. We also utilize a customer portal which we use for task updates. I will add you to our team and you can provide updates for clients directly within the portal.

While this is currently a part-time position, we do aim to transition you to a full-time role as we continue to grow and sign on more clients.

Currently we're working with 8 clients and are growing at a rate of 30?ch month. With the influx of web development projects, I haven't been able to keep up with the marketing work and so that's where you'll come in.

I will still create the strategies for each client and you'll need to work to meet the goals of those strategies. The first 2 weeks will be a trial period where we see how we work together and if anything needs to be adjusted so you can be successful in your role.

We like to give 100% trust upfront but that can easily be broken if goals are not met or timelines are not adhered to. I want to be cautious with the salary to start with as I have been burned in the past with employees not providing the level or quality of work they suggested they were capable of.
