Job Description
As a WordPress Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and resolving support tickets related to our clients' WordPress websites. This role requires both front-end and back-end development expertise to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless website functionality and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to and resolve WordPress support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
* Troubleshoot and fix website issues, including performance, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
* Assist clients with customization requests, implementing changes to themes and plugins as needed.
* Perform routine website maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and security checks.
* Work with various WordPress page builders, including Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and others, to make content and layout changes.
* Collaborate with the development team on more complex issues or new project implementations.
* Provide guidance and support to clients on using their WordPress websites effectively.
* Monitor website performance and optimize for speed and security.
* Document support processes and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a WordPress Support Specialist, Developer, or similar role.
* Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (PHP, MySQL).
* Extensive experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
* Proficiency in using popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
* Familiarity with website hosting environments and DNS management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins.
* Understanding of website security best practices.
* Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.
