Experienced Video Editor for YouTube, Reel, Ads

We are an exciting online jewelry ecommerce company selling all kinds of jewelry but specializing in pearls (some from the Philippines!). We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting and assembling raw footage into a finished product that matches the company's vision and standards. PLEASE READ ALL OFF THIS POST as there are some directions at the end that we will use to qualify candidates. We're excited to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Edit raw footage into a finished product that aligns with the company's vision and standards
2. Create rough and final edits for multiple platforms to include:
3. YouTube (including thumbnails, intro, outros)
4. Collaborate with the business owner to brainstorm ideas and concepts for video projects that will grow subscribers and followers
5. Manage and organize media (video and image) files and archives
6. Provide post-production services as needed including editing, color grading, audio mixing, adding special effects and graphics
7. Keep up-to-date with new video editing technologies and techniques

REQUIREMENTS
1. MINIMUM 3+ years of continual experience in video editing
2. Proficient with video editing software (read below for instructions asking which you are using)
3. Experience with color correction, audio post-production, greenscreen, animations and and motion graphics
4. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
5. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
6. Strong attention to detail

COMPENSATION
20 hours per week to start (we may find that we need more - so let us know if you are open to more hours). $9/hr. Weekdays. We can do 4 hours per day M-F or 5 hours for 4 of the weekdays... I'm flexible. We can choose together which days and hours comprise the 20 hours. This needs to be between 8AM and 4 PM Central Time (US) so that we can communicate quickly. For example, a schedule could be 8AM-12PM Central time M-F or 8AM-1PM M-Thursday. Screen tracking software to be used.
