L1 Server and Desktop Engineer (On-site (Dumaguete City Only))

The Level 1 Network Engineer is responsible for providing server and desktop,
support and maintenance to Junction City customers.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Server maintenance
• Monthly scheduled maintenance
• VMware and Hyper-V
• Server hardware including HP Hardware and iLO (Integrated Lights
Out)
• Desktop maintenance
• Checking backups completed
• Checking updates are successful
• Ensure health of desktop
• Clear disk space
• Schedule a check disk
• 3CX Appliance Maintenance
• Checking backups are working once a month
• Checking updates are installing
• Helpdesk support
• Remote Desktop Connection Issues
• Printing Issues
• Installing custom software for the customer eg. Adobe or Nitro
PDF
• Troubleshoot and deploy anti-virus
• Onboarding and offboarding customer’s new staff member/s
• Programming intercoms and desk phones
• 3CX support and deployment within customers
• Backup troubleshooting
• Monitoring issues in N-central
• Completing required documentation eg. Halo PSA, timesheets

Required Experience/Skills:

• Solid to advanced experience in Windows Desktop (7, 10, 11)
• Intermediate to advanced Server exposure eg. troubleshooting event logs
and resolve issues
• Intermediate to advanced M365
• Intermediate PowerShell
• Intermediate to advanced network concepts
• DNS
• TCP IP
• DHCP
• IP Conflict troubleshooting
• Network troubleshooting
• Network troubleshooting
• Basic Intune exposure

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Enjoy working in a team and providing support to level 1 staff
• Customer service focussed with strong open communication
• Desire to learn and advance career opportunities
Nice to Have
• MCSE, any networking certifications eg. Hardware and Networking, Linux
• AWS or programming experience
