Requirements for Early Childhood Education and Care Trainers (CHC30121
Certificate III: Early Childhood Education and Care)

Relevant Experience:

? Possess early childhood education and care working experience in
Australia, ideally within the last 2 years.
2. Certification:
? Willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
(TAE40116) within 3 months of enrolment
3. Experience Checks:
? Able to source relevant working experience checks from 2-3
Australian employers. Please note: experience to be relevant to
Early Childhood Education
4. Reference Checks:
? Able to provide reference checks from their Australian employers
(such as supervisors, directors, company owners, etc.).
5. Leadership Experience:
? Have experience as a Group Leader if applying to train for the
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Note: Apex will cover the cost of obtaining the Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment (TAE40116) if the above five requirements are met to a satisfactory
standard.
