One time Project-Google Script Developer

Description:

We are looking for a Google Apps Script developer to perform a one-time update to our existing scripts and HTML for a Google Spreadsheet application. The project involves enhancing our current scripts to include dynamic dropdown menus based on user selection.

Project Details:

Dropdown Options:

Monthly: When selected, a new dropdown should display months from July 2024 to June 2026.
Six Monthly: When selected, a new dropdown should show 6-month periods from July 2024 to June 2026.
Quarterly: When selected, a new dropdown should include quarterly periods from Q3 2024 to June 2026.
Data Source:

The data is located in a Google Spreadsheet on a tab named RebatePeriodOptions with columns Periodtype and Periodoptions. This data should be used to populate the dropdown options.
Requirements:

Google Apps Script Updates:

Modify the getPeriodOptions function to handle the new period types (Monthly, Six Monthly, Quarterly) and return the appropriate options.
HTML/JavaScript Updates:

Update the HTML to include a main dropdown for selecting the period type (Monthly, Six Monthly, Quarterly).
Implement JavaScript to dynamically update the secondary dropdown based on the selected period type.
Deliverables:

Updated Google Apps Script code (Code.gs).
Updated HTML file (index.html) with JavaScript to handle dynamic dropdown updates.
Brief documentation on testing and deploying the updated scripts.
Skills Required:

Proficiency in Google Apps Script.
Experience with HTML and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Google Sheets data integration.
Project Duration: This is a one-time project. We expect the work to be completed promptly.
