Compliance Assistant

Compliance Assistant - Role Overview:
You will be responsible for ensuring all products meet market standards and regulatory requirements, including verifying Children’s Product Certificates (CPC) and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) test reports. Ensuring product safety and compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet all required safety standards, including those mandated by CPSIA.
Documentation Verification: Accurately submit CPCs and test reports, maintaining CPSC compliance.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Work with different departments and international teams to streamline compliance processes.
Amazon Compliance: Ensure products comply with Amazon’s safety standards for US and Canada. Address Amazon’s compliance rejections and handle additional testing requests.
Amazon ISTA 6/SIOC Certification: Enroll products in Amazon’s packaging certification programs to promote sustainability.
Walmart Standards: Ensure products listed on Walmart adhere to safety standards.
Target Procedures: Oversee TRF Form submissions and support the China team as needed.
Testing Management: Manage timelines for new and renewal testing, obtain quotes, and avoid unnecessary costs.
Data Management: Use Excel, Dropbox, and Asana for efficient data filing and access to test reports.

This role is pivotal in maintaining product safety and compliance across multiple platforms, driving sustainability, and ensuring smooth cross-departmental operations.
