To achieve this, we are looking to enhance our online presence by developing a website similar in functionality and design to SmileTutor.sg.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer VA to join our team full-time and take charge of creating our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a keen eye for design, and the ability to work independently. You will work directly with the CEO of Tutoria.sg himself to build a user-friendly, visually appealing, and fully functional informative website that aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development: Build a responsive and user-friendly website for Tutoria.sg with a design and functionality similar to SmileTutor.sg.

User Interface (UI) Design: Ensure the website has an intuitive and attractive design that enhances user experience.

Functionality Implementation: Develop essential features such as tutor registration, tutor request form, search functionality, and a tuition assignment page.

SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure the website ranks well on search engines.

Content Management: Integrate a CMS to allow easy updates of content, including blog posts and tutor profiles.

Security: Ensure the website is secure, protecting user data and preventing unauthorized access.

Testing and Debugging: Thoroughly test the website for any bugs or issues and resolve them before launch.

Ongoing Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and updates to the website as needed.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in web development, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects.

Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and website builders.

Familiarity with SEO best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to ask questions and give feedback to improve our company's practices.


Job Type and Benefits:

Full-Time Position: 6 hours/day, Monday to Friday. The hours are flexible, but you will need to be online for at least an hour daily for meetings with the CEO.

Leave Benefits: 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after a 2-month probation period.

Holidays: Most Filipino holidays are honored, except for All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.
