Job Title: YouTube Thumbnail Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Thumbnail Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of what makes a thumbnail highly clickable. This role involves researching trending thumbnail concepts that have generated high view counts on other YouTube channels, designing eye-catching thumbnails, and split testing different concepts to optimize for performance.

Responsibilities:

Research and analyze high-performing thumbnail designs in the YouTube ecosystem.
Design visually appealing and engaging thumbnails that align with our brand and video content.
Split test different thumbnail designs to determine which concepts drive the most views and engagement.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure that thumbnails accurately represent the video content.
Take constructive criticism and feedback to continuously improve the quality of thumbnails.
Requirements:

Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software.
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
Ability to research and identify thumbnail trends within the YouTube space.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Reliable internet access for remote work.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Openness to receiving and implementing feedback.
Compensation:

$4 USD per hour.
