JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Technical Support Specialist with specialized knowledge in LED lighting products. As a valuable member of our support team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and ensuring our customers receive exemplary support for our range of LED lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities - What duties are you responsible for?
- Provide expert technical support to customers, assisting with inquiries related to LED lighting product installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our LED lighting products, keeping abreast of updates, features, and technical specifications.
- Create and update technical documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles, to facilitate customer self-help and assist internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Operations, to communicate customer feedback and contribute to ongoing product improvement.
- Provide training to customers and internal staff on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LED lighting products.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers through various channels, including email, phone, and remote support tools.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends, potential product enhancements, and areas for improvement in customer support processes.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities while providing technical support, helping customers select the best LED lighting solutions to meet their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve sales targets by cross-selling and up-selling LED lighting products based on customer requirements and needs.
- Assist customers with product selection, quotes, and order processing to ensure a seamless sales experience.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to share insights from customer interactions that could lead to new sales opportunities or product improvements.

Qualifications - What makes up the ideal candidate?
- 3+ years of experience in technical support engineering, preferably with a focus on LED lighting products.
- Profound understanding of LED lighting technologies, components, and applications.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional technical support with an emphasis on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and contribute to ongoing product enhancement.
- Proven sales experience or a strong interest in sales, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on long-term satisfaction and sales growth.
