Part-Time Senior Level Art Director/Graphic Designer

Hello! We are seeking a part-time Senior Level Art Director/Graphic Designer to help us with a variety of ongoing design projects such as flyers, infographics, case studies, brochures, social posts, graphics/tables/charts, PowerPoint decks, and more!

We are a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP), Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), and Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) specializing in delivering IT solutions to highly regulated industries such as healthcare, construction, and state/local government. We focus on providing cutting-edge technology and security services that empower organizations to thrive in a complex and regulated environment.

Application Requirements:

To ensure your skills match our needs, we ask that you please provide at least 1 portfolio example of each of the following:
- Multipage document - a brochure, white paper, annual report, etc.
- Graphical email/email newsletter
- Graphic elements - vector-based diagrams, icons, tables & statistical charts
- Infographic
- Social post and/or digital ad
- PowerPoint pitch deck (or similar)
- Photo editing - before and after
- Brand adherence - provide either a multi-channel campaign you designed AND/OR an example of a single project where you were asked to follow existing brand guidelines. If the latter, please provide the brand reference piece or brand guidelines you were asked to follow.

Required Creative Skills:

When reviewing your portfolio, we'll be looking for your expertise in the following areas:
- Typography - font choices, typesetting, creating visual hierarchy
- Space - use of white/negative space, purposeful placement of elements
- Visual hierarchy - using the principles/elements of design to guide the reader's eye with intention and purpose
- Use of a grid system for page layout, "breaking the grid"
- Use of scale and proportion
- Use of color, shapes, textures
- Balance of variety vs. unity
- Photoshopping abilities - color correcting, photo enhancements, cropping
- Brand adherence
- General cleanliness of your design solutions. We are a B2B firm so we're looking for a professional, polished, clean, and organized look & feel.

Required Technical Skills:

- Adobe - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Microsoft - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Understanding CMYK vs RGB and best-practice export settings for each

Wage and Hours/Week:

- $8 - $18 USD per hour **depending on qualifications and creative skill level
- 10 - 20 hours a week ($320/mo - $1,440/mo)

Please note, after reviewing your portfolio, we’ll ask you to complete a creative test project followed by a phone or video interview to discuss your work and your process to ensure a successful partnership for us both.
