Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and imaginative Children’s Book Illustrator to join our team. This role involves creating vibrant, original illustrations that align with the tone and themes of each story, bringing the characters and scenes to life for young readers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Character and Scene Illustration: Design and illustrate characters and scenes that are visually appealing and appropriate for the target age group.
• Collaborate with Authors: Work closely with authors to ensure that your illustrations complement the narrative and enhance the overall story.
• Versatility in Style: Ability to work in various artistic styles, from whimsical and playful to realistic, depending on the project requirements.
• Layout and Composition: Understand book layout and composition, ensuring that illustrations are appropriately integrated into the text.
• Revisions and Feedback: Be open to making revisions based on feedback from the author and the publishing team to ensure the final product meets our high standards.

Requirements:

• Artistic Talent: Proven experience as a children’s book illustrator, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to create captivating illustrations.
• Creativity and Imagination: Strong creative skills and the ability to think outside the box to create unique and engaging artwork.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with authors and the publishing team to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work, from initial sketches to final illustrations.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant software.
