Software Business Analyst

Key responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders, and develop detailed project documentation including functional specifications and process flows.
- Analyze and document business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, etc.) to ensure clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, performing manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders to validate that business requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress, document and track defects, manage project risks and issues, and continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.

Some of our existing business tools include WordPress (version 6.0), MySQL, Cornerstone, Google Suite/Analytics, Azure, Power BI and Excel.

Storytime PODs is an exciting and fast-growing children’s book publisher that develops digital book platforms ( ---------- , ---------- and ---------- ) for schools and libraries to educate and entertain children. Our markets include Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Norway, Hong Kong and China.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist to support the development and quality assurance of our digital platforms. The successful candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring our platforms meet customer needs and maintain high-quality standards. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, proficiency in business analysis and QA tools, and experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain strong organizational skills is essential for success.
