SEO Expert

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) freelance contractor to join one of our clients as an SEO Expert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting SEO analysis to review the setup and performance established by the previous hire, performing keyword research, and assisting with content development needed for SEO. This role also involves collaborating with the paid search ads team to align SEO and Ads strategies for optimal return, tracking organic versus paid traffic performance, and executing link-building strategies. The candidate should be capable of independently generating SEO strategies and must be available to work in PST time zone.



About the work

Conduct comprehensive SEO analysis to assess and improve the setup and performance established by the previous hire.
Perform in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with broader marketing goals.
Work closely with the paid search ads team to integrate SEO and paid strategies for maximum ROI.
Monitor and analyze organic traffic versus paid traffic to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and improve search rankings.
Develop and implement independent SEO strategies tailored to the client's specific needs.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide actionable insights and recommendations.


Boxes to check

At least 3 years experience as an SEO Expert
Demonstrated success in conducting SEO analysis and implementing effective SEO strategies.
Proven experience in keyword research and on-page/off-page SEO.
Strong understanding of the relationship between SEO and paid search ads.
Track record of successful link-building campaigns and improving domain authority.
Ability to work independently and generate strategies without direct supervision.
Availability to work in the PST time zone.

Full-time position at $12/hr, working 40 hours per week
