Brist Mfg., Bellingham, WA is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Assistant to place orders, manage and problem solve complex order issues, and provide data entry assistance. This assignment requires NetSuite or other ERP user experience, accounting/data entry experience, supply chain knowledge, advanced mastery of written and spoken English, and the ability to regularly work USA Pacific Time Zone hours Monday - Friday.
The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for placing customer orders in the operating system, procuring materials, decorating services and finished products with partners, factories, and suppliers. This position works closely with the Domestic Order Lead to ensure customer order and purchasing requirements are accurate, stock and inventory issues are communicated and pricing meets estimated costs.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
-Process and prioritize tasks and inbound customer orders routed from project coordinators and sales.
-Review all information provided on a purchase order to accurately purchase blanks from suppliers, input costs on purchase orders, provide shipping information, set factory exit dates and coordinate shipping from Brist warehouse if needed.
-Create and manage backorders with suppliers and update appropriate parties of any delays.
-Determine the factory, resource or partner that will produce the merchandise in collaboration with the Production Director.
-Record, update and maintain data for open orders in NetSuite.
-Utilize and understand decorator price sheets to fill out purchase orders.
-Work with suppliers, factories and outsourced partners through
-Communicate changes to tech packs, sales orders, delivery, shipping and costing information to support supply chain functions.
-Effectively prioritize multiple projects with varying levels of urgency and timelines in a high-volume, interrupt-driven environment.
-Provide prompt, clear and concise direction to vendors, suppliers and internal staff.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Proficient in math fundamentals
-Mastery of English (spoken and written)
-Experience in NetSuite or similar ERP platform
-Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment
-Experience working in a collaborative decision making environment, reaching consensus to deliver the best outcomes possible
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Effective communicator, both verbally and written

Required Experience/Education:
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
-2-3 years customer service, administrative, order processing and management experience
-Demonstrated ability and experience to manage workflow, capacity constraints, unique requests
-Accountable to goals and objectives
-Project management software and operating systems, CRM, Google Sheets, NetSuite
-Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
