JOB OVERVIEW

Compensation: Starting at $8/hour for 40 hours a week during the probationary period (3 months), with an increase to $9/hour after successful completion of the probation.
Start Date: Immediately

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and experienced LinkedIn Expert / Social Media Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to expand our online presence and achieve our goal of reaching 10k followers by the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

1. LinkedIn Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategy for LinkedIn content to build and expand our online presence.
- Analyze LinkedIn performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.

2. Content Creation and Management:
- Own and manage the LinkedIn content calendar, ensuring consistent posting 5x per week.
- Collaborate with the creative team to manage the creative process for LinkedIn posts.
- Turn successful LinkedIn posts into engaging blog posts and scripts for videos.

3. Administrative and Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the team's operations.
- Learn and Develop New Skills:
- Continually learn and apply new skills, actively contributing to our culture of learning and reflection.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LinkedIn content management or social media strategy.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Expertise in using Google Workspace (docs, slides, sheets, meet, email, etc.), Canva, and Notion.
- Recognition of the importance of speed and the ability to move quickly through tasks.
- Coachability to continually learn and apply new skills.
- Strong presentability and comfort on video (camera, mic, lighting, and work area).
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Training and Expectations:
- We provide playbooks and training on the tools we use if needed.
- We expect fast learners who can quickly adapt and work efficiently.
- Emphasis on maintaining high speed and accuracy in a high-pressure, high-level environment.
