We are a UK based progressive and fast growing e-commerce agency with multiple projects and clients right now.
As we scale, we need a dedicated Social Media Manager to join our team to help us with our social media management.
Job purpose: To manage multiple social media channels for a variety of e-commerce brands with a focus on increasing sales
Main responsibilities:
Create and implement a social media strategy for each brand selecting the appropriate platforms with clear success indicators focused on increased sales and audience growth
Create, curate and administer engaging and original content for social media platforms
Monitor, listen and respond to customers while cultivating leads and sales
Analyse, evaluate and optimise performance of brand social media channels and adjust strategy as needed
Develop and implement a process for capturing happy, local customer online reviews
Develop and manage social media marketing campaigns such as promotions and giveaways
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content and report notable threats to appropriate management
Keep up to date with best practice and emerging trends in social media
Person specification:
Marketing degree welcome but not required with relevant work experience
At least 3 years’ experience of managing social media channels for multiple brands to a high standard
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Linkedin etc)
Excellent writing and language skills
Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple streams of work
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team; confidence to take the lead and guide other team members where necessary
Ability to take direction as well as work independently
Attention to detail
Ability and willingness to utilise project management and time tracking software
