As a Seasonal Recruiting Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our recruitment efforts during peak seasons, ensuring seamless coordination and communication throughout the hiring process. Outcomes:
In this role, you will:
- Facilitate the recruitment process by managing job postings, applicant flow, initial contacts, and phone screenings.
- Ensure effective communication with the HR Director and hiring managers to streamline candidate selection and hiring decisions.
- Utilize ATS/HRIS systems to track applicant data, maintain candidate pipelines, and generate recruitment reports.
- Contribute to a positive candidate experience through clear, timely, and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage job postings across various platforms to attract qualified candidates during seasonal hiring peaks.
- Screen incoming resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with job requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules and logistics, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our ATS/HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with hiring policies.
- Assist in the preparation of recruitment materials, including job descriptions, interview guides, and offer letters.
- Support HR Director and hiring managers in evaluating candidate suitability and making hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals and values.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and potential, recognizing strong talent and alignment with organizational culture.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Adaptable and responsive, able to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in recruiting or HR support roles.
- Familiarity with virtual recruiting tools and technologies.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring processes.
