**Job Summary:**

The Dispatch and Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics and transportation activities, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will work closely with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Dispatching:**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and/or equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
- Coordinate and communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in plans.
- Monitor driver progress and adjust routes as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.

2. **Operations Management:**
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

3. **Customer Service:**
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide updates to customers on delivery status and resolve any issues that arise during transportation.

4. **Data Management:**
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, vehicle maintenance, and driver logs.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify areas for improvement.

5. **Team Coordination:**
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.
- Train and support new dispatch and operations staff as needed.

6. **Problem Solving:**
- Address and resolve logistical challenges, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route deviations.
- Implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** = Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or operations management.
- **Skills:**
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics or transportation management are a plus.

Working Conditions:

Salary: Hour $4.00 - $5.00 USD
