Financial Controller

My name is Kevin Alsterda, Founder & CEO of UpMerch ---------- . UpMerch is located in Chicago, IL, USA, and we produce custom-decorated merchandise for companies.

We are seeking an exceptionally high-quality Financial Controller to join our team full-time. This role requires exceptional written English skills as you will communicate with tea ---------- mbers over Slack and with partners and vendors via chat and email.

**Responsibilities**

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the business, including but not limited to:
- Weekly bookkeeping
- Quickbooks upkeep & organization
- Creating & maintaining various financial reports
- Tracking accounts payables and paying vendors
- Creating & maintaining a cash flow forecast
- Developing & maintaining a company-wide KPI dashboard
- Preparing & processing payroll
- Preparing & processing sales tax

**Qualifications**

The ideal candidate must:
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in English
- Work USA Central Time (CT) Zone hours, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Demonstrate a fast learning ability and intuition
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT
- Utilize automation tools such as Zapier
- Be proficient with software including Quickbooks, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Notion, and Asana
- Excel in using Google Sheets
- Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoy working in a fun and hardworking team environment

**Compensation**
- Monthly: PHP 100000, $1708.21 USD
- Weekly: PHP 23076, $394.20 USD

This is a permanent full-time role. The hired candidate is expected to be a long-term tea ---------- mber. As your roles and responsibilities grow, your compensation will also increase.
