Discord Community Manager and Moderator

Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Online Community Manager and Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, nurturing, and moderating our Discord community, ensuring members have an engaging and supportive experience.
Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our discord community.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members.
Respond to community members' inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Content Creation and Curation:
Create and curate content to stimulate discussion and engagement.
Organize and manage community events, such as live Q&A sessions, webinars, and discussions.
Moderation:
Monitor community activities to ensure compliance with community guidelines and standards.
Address and resolve conflicts and issues within the community promptly and fairly.
Remove inappropriate content and manage user bans when necessary.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track community engagement metrics and provide regular reports.
Analyze community feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Use insights to refine and improve community strategies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing and moderating online communities particularly Discord community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
Familiarity with social media platforms, online forums, and community management tools.
Creative mindset with the ability to create engaging content.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools to track community performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have a marketing background
Proficiency in using community management software (e.g., Discourse, Discord, Slack).
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
