Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst / Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve the overall security posture of our clients' systems.

Responsibilities
Vulnerability Assessment: Perform detailed security evaluations of web applications, networks, and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities.
Penetration Testing: Execute controlled attacks on client systems to identify and exploit security weaknesses.
Reporting: Document findings with clear, concise reports that include remediation recommendations.
Risk Analysis: Analyze the impact of identified vulnerabilities and suggest prioritized remediation strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, IT, and security teams to communicate findings and support remediation efforts.
Security Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve testing methodologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years in penetration testing or related security roles.
Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or similar.
Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
Analytical mindset with the ability to think like an attacker to identify security gaps.


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud security assessments.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Background in ethical hacking and exploit development.
