Xero Superstar/Accountant

The Accountant will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations for an Australian Solar Company, helping us to analyse, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist not only will understand current accounting practices and trends, but also will have experience raising capital and adapting to change, whether it’s through growth or downsizing. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills. Applicant will need to have strong knowledge and experience with Xero and payroll.

Tasks:-
Payroll
- Comms calcs
- Child support reporting, monthly payment
- Send ABA for upload
- STP Finalisation
- Annual WorkCover
- Payroll Tax Lodgement
- Submit Superannuation Payments

Bank Reconciliation
- Including checking and reallocating all transactions
- Request invoices /receipts for unreconciled items
- Send receipts to customers that make COD payments
- Add planned payment dates to enable running reports for payables each week to keep
up with current payment plans
- Make supplier payments via ABA file for upload

Management
- Management Reports / Meeting
- Cash Flow Forecast
- Budget
- Stocktake journal
- Maintain Fixed asset register
- Maintain Entertainment Schedule
- Leave Accrual
- Income Tax Estimate Journal
