Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Financing Proposal Specialist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing successful project financing proposals for entities such as USAID, NIH, NSF, USADF, and other similar organizations. Experience in contract farming and rare earth element mining is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write detailed, compelling, and well-structured project financing proposals.
- Conduct research to gather information and data needed to support proposal content.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Ensure proposals are compliant with all guidelines and requirements of the funding entities.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely submission.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of funding opportunities and changes in funding guidelines.
- Provide editing and proofreading support to ensure accuracy and professionalism of proposals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing project financing proposals.
- Strong understanding of the requirements and guidelines of funding entities such as USAID, NIH, NSF, and USADF.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of submission processes and a history of successful submissions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, or International Development.
- Experience working on projects in Peru, Guyana, and Chile.
- Knowledge of grant writing and funding landscape in agriculture, environmental sciences, and related fields.
- Experience in contract farming and rare earth element mining.
