The Social Media Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing team to execute social media strategies, create engaging content, and grow our online community. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and a passion for social media trends. The ideal candidate will have basic video and photo editing skills and will be responsible for community management across all social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing plans.
Create, edit, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms
Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and voice.
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
Assist in the planning and execution of social media contests and promotions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Perform basic video and photo editing tasks for short-form videos, including adding captions, and headlines, and removing filler words.
Write, edit, and draft captions and posts for social media, ensuring they align with the client's voice and style.
Schedule and manage posts using Sprout Social and manual posting methods once content is approved.
