Lawyer/Advanced Paralegal

About Us: We are a Migration Agency in Perth, Western Australia experts in Australian Immigration Law. We require assistance with preparation of applications and legal assistance for Australian visas.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced English skills, a thorough understanding of law and the ability to interpret legal documents. You will assist with client case files and confirm requirements and documents for visa applications. Additionally, a good understanding of Excel, Word, and GSuite is essential.

You are not required to provide Immigration advice or consult with clients, this job is to manage and generate checklists, check and validate legal documents and confirm legal requirements of applications that will be submitted to the Australian Immigration department. We already have tools to assist you to do this.

We will teach you the details in regards to the Australian Immigration Law. The position requires a probationary period of 3 months. We will pay fortnightly and require that you sign a privacy agreement. The business is growing and so the amount of work, responsibility and pay may also grow for the right person. We already have remote workers and we understand what makes a good working remote relationship.

The role may grow into full time for the right candidate. Part time salary of 30000PHP/fortnight to start.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and review legal documents.
Assist with the preparation of client case files.
Confirm requirements and assist with the preparation of documents for visa applications.
Utilise Excel, Word, and GSuite for various legal tasks.

Essential Criteria:
You MUST have a fine attention to detail. Small details have large consequences in this job.
You must learn a bit about Australian Immigration and Industrial Relations Law.
Advanced English skills (both written and verbal).
Strong understanding of law and legal principles.
Experience in interpreting and drafting legal documents.
Familiarity with visa application processes and requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and GSuite.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.

Desirable Criteria:
Prior experience in immigration law.
Previous remote working experience.
